Bringing Accessible Healthcare Closer to Underserved Communities in Vihiga County

On April 26, 2025, Lomosi Foundation, in partnership with Hamisi Subcounty Hospital and Mungoma Hospital, hosted a one-day free medical outreach at Dr. Maurice Dang’ana Secondary School, Tambua Ward. This initiative was part of our mission to provide quality, accessible healthcare to marginalized communities. The camp offered a full range of health services — from consultations and screenings to specialized care in dental, eye, and mental health — addressing a critical gap in rural healthcare access.

What We Helped With

Through collaborative effort and community mobilization, the medical camp delivered essential health services to hundreds of residents in need — all at no cost.

Our health outreach programs aim to reduce medical vulnerability by offering accessible care, timely referrals, and preventive health education. By addressing urgent health needs and creating pathways for ongoing support, we empower communities to take charge of their well-being and build a stronger, healthier future.
